The People's Countryside Environmental Debate Podcast with guest Tom Carman from Cultivate, Real Farming Trust and Ethex.

In this episode we welcomed Tom Carman from Cultivate, Real Farming Trust and Ethex.

The three questions, which once again inspired an interesting debate, were;

- What would our land look like if our diets were sustainable for the planet? Plus what 'nudges' could we use to get Real Farming the predominant form of farming in the UK?

- In the western world we hide away from the concept of death and our owr mortality. Some of the ancient tribes that still exist are more connected to their mortality and live more sustainably. How much of a role does a westerners avoidance of death play in the way we farm, produce and consume?

- Does being able to identify and understand the nature around us give us a stronger connection and make us more likely to want to protect it?
