The People's Countryside Environmental Debate Podcast with guest Elise Benjamin a Former Green Councillor, ex-Lord Mayor, and Campaigner.

In this episode we welcomed former Green party councillor, ex-Lord Mayor, and campaigner Elise Benjamin.

The three questions, which once again inspired an interesting debate, were;

- The original 1978 animated film of Richard Adams's Watership Down was seen as being too brutal for children to watch. With the 2018 version made for the BBC being a much more watered down version, should we really protect children this way or should children, as the original film intended, be made aware what impact we're having on the natural world around us by seeing it from the animal's point of viewer?

- Should we be protecting the Green Belt from development?

- Should we be suspicious when airports and oil companies take steps to be more environmentally sustainable, or is that just a green wash?
