Claire has been traveling throughout France constantly. A dream job for sure, but her work as a wine buyer for a 'big box' store has its downside too. She's been in constant motion for a few years at this point and so much so that she doesn't even maintain her own home. That is about to change.
In need of a break, she heads for her mother's home - The Beekeeper's Cottage - in California. Along the way Claire meets a French winemaker and Laurente's fingerprints seem to be everywhere Claire turns.
