So because we had two scene shows this month, and the grunge show ran overlong, this is a particularly short week, but hey, it's still a show, and it's full of fun stories of people whom have brought (or stoked) particular music in my life over the years.
I tell stories about an epic mixtape from high school, about an alternative to Hooked On Phonics, about how I learned the 19/17 Nebraska rule, about the songs I picked up riding in cars, and a handful more.
It's a show that won't last much more than an hour, but it's chock full of fun.

There is a Prince tribute show coming in the vein of our David Bowie tribute show (the R.I.P. Prince show will be show #43) but it's a bit out, because I have plans for the next episode that have been set for a while (based on the episode number, so it can't really move), and because I want to do my homework on Prince first. I wasn't a huge fan of his beforehand, but in starting to do my research, I think I was just being exposed to the wrong stuff. I thought about trying to to cram Prince into the hour and change I had here, but it felt like I was short shifting him, which isn't fair to an artist of his breadth of work.
