Artist and filmmaker, Liz Miller. Liz is a truly interdisciplinary artist, skilled in many processes and mediums. Liz's current explorations have been working with wire and synthetic hair. The themes of blackness in America, cultural traditions surrounding African-American hair, and Afro-futurism are prevalent in Liz's work.

Her work focuses on analyzing and describing the complexities of blackness through art. Liz recently completed a film project where she collaborated with dancers to cleanse historical spaces associated with black bodies using colored smoke and ceremonial headdresses. She is dedicated to unlocking the hidden magic and humanity within the black community through her art.
