Dave is working on a new device that might need multiple micros swapped in. Chris mentioned this is the idea behind the Sparkfun Micromod system, which didn’t seem super useful otherwise.
Reusing a commodity connector like the M.2 connector is not a new idea, but the M.2 looks cool!
Dave is not interested in learning Micropython or Circuitpython for this project because of the time involved.
