The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Children and Equality yesterday heard consistent criticism of the Certain Institutional Burials Bill following 8 hours of meetings with relevant representatives. On Thursday's Morning Focus Susan Lohan - co-founder of the Adoption Rights Alliance spoke with Pat Flynn. She told the committee that the proposed legislation for the excavation of remains at sites once run by religious orders "falls far, far short" of what was "promised" and contravenes human rights obligations.
