You think Texas and you think big hair, cowboy boots, oil, horses, and RED! Well times are a changin'. Wearing one of her many pairs of fabulous boots, with a full but not "big" mane of hair Reverend Joanna Crawford is at the forefront to that change. Her congregation of Unitarian Universalists believe that: Black Lives Matter - Love is Love is Love is Love - Healthcare is a Right - Children Do Not Belong in Prison - All of God's Creatures are Created Beautiful and Deserve Dignity. Pretty radical stuff for a group in the middle of an area trying to ban trans kids from sports, and telling young women that showing their shoulders is shameful and distracting to boys. Add to that a pandemic and you can see she's had her hands full. Why would anyone choose such a path for themselves? What kind person finds this church? What the heck is a UU? All of this (and so very much more) gets answered in this thought provoking episode.
