There is so much bad advice out there, much of which is predicated on bad data and made up statistics. Things like "recruiters only look at your resume for XX seconds" or "the average job seeker....." are all problematic. How do you define average? How do you measure "recruiters"? Good science takes training and time, neither of which phony "job gurus" are willing to invest in. In this episode the brilliant Dr Kirsten Lee Hill and Michele Olivier walk through a lot of this garbage, and shine lights in the dark corners. They'll tell you how to spot a fake number, and what to look for as good research. Definitely an episode for anyone who is on the job hunt!
