Life of Fiction

How do you entertain the world with your fiction? That's a question I've been asking myself since I launched WantedHero.com in 2005. These stories were for my kids, but that didn't last long. Kids share with other kids, and sometimes crazy things grow. This podcast is about the creative process, perspectives, stories, and my worldbuilding addictions. It's to show you that nothing is ever as simple or as easy as it seems, and life doesn't usually turn out like we think it will. If you’re looking for ideas, inspiration, instruction, or maybe a glance into the creative process of lying to kids for a living, this may be the podcast for you.

Rappin it Up #1: Cryo64

The audio is a little worn, as electronic files get...when not re-saved over time, but they still sound pretty good.

This show "Rappin' it Up" was my 14 yer old daughters idea. She gets all the credit here, and it was a brilliant idea: interview the comic book characters from WantedHero.com. She knew that kids loved shows from other kids and she was spot on...the very next morning, less than 12 hours later, we had fan mail and she was an instant hit.

Unfortunately we only made two of these shows--which was an intense process for me personally, trying to be all the voices to meet my daughters questions. So I'd like to share a piece of our podcasting journey with you from 2005.

Enjoy!
