episode 67: #88- How to Introduce God to Your Children (Parenting)
Thank the Lord for his word! There are so many parenting books out there, from "What to Expect When You're Expecting", to a million other books based off personal experience and/or science. The things that I would say most books are missing, is God's presence. People always say, "Take care of yourself. You can't pour from an empty cup." Well, guess what? The world gives you a million overwhelming options to choose from then leaves you to try them all. You will eventually end up feeling unfulfilled all over again. Thankfully, we have Jesus to fulfill us, who is not of this world. Jesus is of heavenly places, just as we are! We are also given the Bible to help us, and our children.
God's word instill morals in children that will help keep them on a loving, forgiving and safe path. It is our job as parents to teach our children the truth! God's word is the truth.
Here are a few ways we can introduce God to our children:
-Open Conversation
-Being a good example
-Reading
-Church
In this podcast episode we are going to be going over simple ways that we can plant seeds in our children to help instill great morals and encourage their own relationship with God... without forcing them to believe anything.
