episode 162: Deep Roots: More about the Rhythm & the Drum
Hey Everyone, So I hope you all had the Xmas & NYE that you wished for & that the "TwoTwo" will be good to you! Incredibly, it was 40yrs ago this year that I first started with two decks & tried to mix. Unfortunately I had no mixer, so I just wired both the decks together into the single amp input. With no pitch control, there was a lot fun, but not a lot of success. Oh my, how things change! This then is the last in a trilogy focusing on the deeper side of the sub genres found within Soulful House. In this set I explore some interpretations of what are 'Roots'.
