In this interview I interview Pastor Dominick Cotignola, Senior Pastor of Bellerose Assembly of God in Bellerose Queens. Pastor Dominick J. Cotignola has been the Senior Pastor of Bellerose Assembly of God since April of 2004. Pastor Dom came to Bellerose in May of 1998, and has served as Youth and Young Adult Pastor as well as Associate Pastor prior to becoming the Senior Pastor.
Pastor Dom has a passion to reach people with a message of hope that comes from a relationship with Jesus. His vision is that Bellerose Assembly of God will be a blessing and influence for God within the “20 mile radius” of the church. He knows and always reminds the congregation that "The Best Is Yet to Come” and considers Jeremiah 29:11 to be one of his favorite verses from the Bible, which tells us that the plans God has for us are good…plans that give us hope and a future. Pastor Dom was born and raised in Queens, New York, is a graduate of The University of Valley Forge in Pennsylvania and currently lives in the Bellerose area with his wife Rachel and their three children.
This is my former Church, and one of the best Pastors I know. In this episode we discuss ministry, struggles in ministry, especially how Bellerose and Pastor Dom has dealt with COVID-19. This is also his story of how he came into the ministry, and what has kept him in ministry all these years later.
