Many of you know that when I say house music radio show, I actually mean electronic music radio show as Dirty Disco goes beyond the genres and dives deep into the world of electronic music. While Dirty Disco might trigger an expectation of Disco vibes it’s more a reference to the house music scene where disco is the ancestor of.
Soundscapes & Rhythmic Sounds.
To understand this better let me give you a few examples of new productions that I’m featuring in this week’s house music radio show, better known as Dirty Disco episode number 450. The first ‘opening’ track is more of a soundscape designed with voices from people talking, coming from the new ‘Blind’ LP by Jameszoo. With that said the whole album is a mixture of soundscapes and rhythmic sounds.
Laidback Downtempo Hip-Hop.
Next you’ll witness two laidback downtempo electronic hip-hop grooves by Pacced Rock, coming from the Chapter One Sonic Levitation LP on Illian Tape. These first 3 tracks already show you that Dirty Disco isn’t necessarily about Disco, neither house music. But do understand that it’s always there.
Italo Funk, Nu Disco & Funky Space Beats.
The 2 hour hosted mix show includes music from the electronic music scene in its widest understanding. Always building up from the slower grooves all the way up to 125 or sometimes even 130 BPM and up. In the journey you’ll witness a variety of sounds mixed together. From laidback electronica to indie dance, nu disco, Italo funk and sometimes even a bit of those funky space beats.
Deep House, Future Electronic & Dirty Disco.
The deeper segments are also always represented in the mix containing sounds from deep disco, deep house, deep tech and deep future electronica vibes. Without forgetting their origin simply put it as house music. And therefore this time I’m presenting you new music in this week’s new house music radio show better known as Dirty Disco.
