Will the Lakers Make the Play-In Tournament? How Much Will Anthony Davis Help?
The Los Angeles Lakers have 10 games remaining. Seven are against teams with winning records, two are against the New Orleans Pelicans, who are vying to host a potential play-in game against the purple and gold, and the last is against the Thunder... who have beaten the Lakers TWICE this season. They'll head into Wednesday's game with Philly holding a three game lead on San Antonio, and a slightly larger gap over the Portland TrailBlazers, and neither of those teams is working all that hard to get in.
So assuming they can qualify, how many games will Anthony Davis need to be a factor for them, and potentially help the Lakers get into, and be competitive in, a first round series against Phoenix? He didn't require much ramp up time after returning from a long absence earlier this season.
