When you think of an up-and-coming C-suite exec in the technology sector you probably don't imagine a 5'2", 40-something LGBTQ+ woman with purple hair whose dress fashion is self-described as "pajama-chic".  You'd be wrong.  Athena Peters is a veteran creative leader in the gaming industry who has a star-studded career working on some of the biggest titles with the biggest studios in the industry.  After dealing with rampant misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and masculine centric narcissism of that world for 20 years Athena declared it enough. Today Athena is at the creative helm of her second venture (her first, Incantrix Productions is very alive and kicking, delivering insanely creative live events and epic LARP scenarios) into the world of gaming with Rainbow Unicorn Games.  Their motto? Women, POC, Indigenous & Queer stories are rarely considered by the video game industry, and yet we make up the majority of people playing. It’s time to make games for this majority.
