Interview: A former Karen refugee to a Master of Pharmacy university student
Thoo Lei Phan is a 23 year's old Karen girl recently graduated in Bachelor of Medical Science at Western Sydney University. Born in Karen State of Burma and grew up in Noh Poe refugee camp in Thailand, Thoo Lei Phan arrived in Australia in earlier December of 2006 together with her family. She was 11 years old when she first arrived and with very limited English language skills. However, she is now making her way to Master of Pharmacy student.
