Open Season Game Hunting Begins On Thursday

Animal welfare groups have expressed disappointment at the Minister of State for Heritage, Malcolm Noonan’s announcement that the open season for wild bird hunting would open this Thursday. That’s despite the Government’s promise to reform arrangements in an attempt to protect species with declining numbers.
