episode 471: Dirty Disco Episode #471: The Best Electronic Music, Here Are Your Weekend Weapons.

Dirty Disco is back with another hot episode to get your weekend started right! This week we’ve got some of the best electronic music for you, so be sure to check it out. Whether you’re looking for a club banger or something chill, we’ve got you covered. As always, we’ve got your weekend weapons ready to go.

Here are your weekend weapon highlights.

Yonatan Rukhman – Solitary Sweet Funk EP | Deep Clicks.

Yonatan Rukhman is excited to announce his new EP, Solitary Sweet Funk. This EP is a true milestone for Yonatan and will be released on one of his favourite labels to date – Deep Clicks. This is his first 4 track EP where he feels all tracks are connected in genre and spirit. As part of his musical research in the realm of electronic music, Yonatan would define the melange of this composition as two parts Deep House and one part NuDisco. He hopes that listeners will enjoy these tracks as much as he enjoyed making them.

Jerk Boy – I Love Only You | Sosilly Edits.

Jerk Boy, Australia’s premier nu-disco producer, is fresh off the success of his chart-topping track “Keep It On,” which features the vocals of Chicago house music legend Mike Dunn. With remixes by Kristin Velvet, T.U.R.F., and Ben Gomori getting major support from the who’s who of the club and festival scene, it’s been a busy summer for the down-under artist. His latest release, “I Love Only You,” is a fist-pumping slab of disco/soul that is sure to get any dance floor moving. So if you’re looking for one last party before the end of the summer, make sure to check out Jerk Boy’s latest anthem.

Sgt Slick – White Treble Black Bass (Hotmood Remix) | Vicious Recordings.

This 1988 release, which was honored with the ARIA for ‘Best Dance Album,’ is a bona fide classic and a tough one to remix. We’re delighted to welcome Mexico’s Hotmood boss of disco to handle the remixing duties for the 30th anniversary of Vicious Recordings.

Hotmood has made huge waves in recent years with his re-edits and stand alone releases finding a place in the music collection of any DJ that plays a funkier disco styled sound. Keeping this trademark slinky funky style alive in his remix, Hotmood glides through the groove, weaving in and out of the original, dropping the title vocal line and the huge original sax parts… A very cool re-interpretation of this always awesome track.

Soulchaser – Never Gonna Stop | Sync Records.

Sync is back with a nu disco track and weekend weapon by Soulchaser that is sure to get you moving. His debut “Heartache” was a huge success, and his recent release on Tasty Records has climbed the beatport New Disco Top 100. This is one artist you don’t want to miss, so be sure to check out his latest production. It’s absolutely for the dancefloor and full of feel-good disco house vibes.

Shiba San – I Wanna (Tchabi Remix) | Basement Leak.

Shiba San’s latest single, “I Wanna,” is heating up the dancefloor, and the remix package from Tchami, Tim Baresko and Millad is sure to keep the fire burning.

Tchami, the Parisian producer and head of Confession, kicks things off with a rare remix. A master of his craft,
