Rape Crisis MidWest Fear Legislation On Sex-For-Rent Arrangements Won't Result In Prosecutions
The MidWest Rape Crisis Centre fears the introduction of legislation on sex-for-rent arrangments won't address the core issue of the power imbalance created by the housing crisis. It comes as the Oireachtas Justice Committee has recommended against the Ban on Sex for Rent Bill 2022 proceeding through the Dáil, due to legal concerns.
