Clare Historian to Organise UL 50th Anniversary Events
On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan spoke to Clare historian Dr. David Fleming, who is the chair of UL 50 Working Group who is organising all events for anniversary celebrations in the University of Limerick which began in May 2022 and will last until May 2023. David spoke about the range of events planned to mark the 50th anniversary as a National Institute for Higher Education. Events organised for the celebration include concerts, publications and exhibitions, with one newly-launched exhibition tracing UL's history up to its extending to the County Clare side of the Shannon.
