Hope Ennis Event Will Provide Solutions To Accommodation Crisis Facing Ukrainians
It's hoped an event taking place in Ennis tomorrow night will help provide solutions in the accommodation crisis facing displaced Ukrainians. People in the county who are currently hosting or thinking about hosting refugees will be sharing information on what's involved in hosting and what supports and services are available. The free event has been organised by Helping Irish Hosts in conjunction with Clare County Council, the Clare Local Development Company, the Clare Immigrant Support Centre and the Clare Volunteer Centre. While representatives from the Irish Red Cross and Doras will also be in attendance at the event which gets underway at the Templegate Hotel from 7.30pm Sharon Meaney from the Clare Volunteer Centre outlines what people can expect on the night.
