episode 100: Your Path to Successful Podcasting — Learn from My Journey

We've reached 100 EPISODES! That's incredible, but it didn't come easy. That's why today we're giving you a special episode that should help you learn from my journey (and mistakes) so you can start your own podcast on the right foot.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to share with you 7 things that I've learned over the past few years while creating this podcast.

1: Posting consistently is key. If you want to build an audience, you need to be putting out content on a regular basis.

2: Pre-recording your content is a great way to save time and ensure that you're always hitting your publishing schedule.

3: Pre- and post-production are the most time-consuming aspects of creating a podcast. Make sure you budget enough time for both!

4: Don't forget to promote yourself! Your listeners/viewers/followers should know who you are and what you do. There should be no question.

5: Ask to like, subscribe, and share. Everyone does it, but they do it for a reason—it works. If you don't remind followers, they won't do it.

6: Don't get caught up in minor details while planning your streams. You can make adjustments along the way, improve upon last week's release, and know that it's okay to not be perfect from day 1.

7: Publish content that's unique for each platform. Audio podcasts deserve different attention that YouTube content, which should be different from what you post on Facebook or Instagram.

It takes a lot of hard work to create a successful podcast, but it's definitely worth it in the end.

Thanks for listening! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share.
