Network Break 410: AWS Previews Secure Remote Access; Broadcom Promises Not To Raise VMware Prices

We also examine a serious outage at social media company Hive Social, Open RAN 5G coming to fighter jets and other military aircraft, and a promise from Broadcom’s CEO not to raise prices if the VMware acquisition goes through.
TSMC promises to make more advanced chips at a US-based manufacturing plant, a mobile provider experiments with using Starlink for backhaul, and the Federal Communications Commission gives Starlink permission to launch 7,500 Gen2 satellites.
