Boy Who Was Rescued From Drowning at Doughmore Beach Shares His Story
On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Aidan Cordeiro and his parents Christiane and Gerlivan Cordeiro. Aidan was saved from drowning by emergency services and CHC Winchman Philip Wrenn along with Kilkee and Doolin units of the Irish Coast Guard. Aidan who is 8 years old recalled his experience of swimming at Doughmore Beach in Clare, when he was taken by riptides further out to sea. He spoke about his appreciation of the services that led him to safety that day.
