episode 69: Quit being so sensitive. Why your hormones aren’t the cause of your PMS.

Why does one woman not even feel her ovulation while for another woman it puts her into a tailspin of emotion and physical symptoms? It’s about sensitivity. The differential sensitivity theory explains why women can feel so many symptoms when her hormones are doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing.

Women have long felt at ‘war’ with their hormones, not realizing that their life, stress, and ‘sensitivity’ is what is causing the challenges with her PMS window, not the hormones themselves. In this episode, Dr. Jordan gives a solo discussion on how PMS happens and what women can do to start to create resiliency in this part of their health.

We make a reclamation of the word “sensitive” and help you understand why you feel at odds with your cycle. Jordan also gives practical take-home tips for improving your PMS experience.
