The Deep

After 2 years of hosting The Deep and holding space for others, I'm ready to share with you one of the traumas that I lived through. When I was younger, I became a victim of domestic violence. I was manipulated, isolated, physically and sexually abused until I didn't know who I was anymore. But I got out. Somehow. And this is my story.Sean Szeps holds this conversation. Someone I trust and tell all my secrets to.Please note. During this chat I may sound guarded or at times unemotional. I know that this is still a trauma response. Because of legal reasons I can't reveal the identity of my abuser so some things need to stay private. It makes this a difficult conversation because I can't share everything that I want to. What I am doing is sharing the full extent of this abusive relationship for the first time ever.Content warning; This episode discusses domestic abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and suicide. Hot Girls Don’t Celebrate Jan 26

As we approach January 26, this year we hand the microphone over to two amazing indigenous creators.

Matty has been sunning himself on nude beaches while Brooke has just been getting nude in the backyard!

Matty and Brooke also went on a trip last year that changed their lives forever!

And we chat with one of Australia's top First Nations performers and advocates Isaiah Firebrace, ahead of what is a very polarising day for First Nations people to find out what he thinks about the day.
