Dermot Hayes Launches Memoir 'The Road That Rises'
On Friday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Dermot Hayes of Clare Leader Forum who is an activist and author along with Breda Shannon who is a ghost writer for Dermot's upcoming memoir called 'The Road That Rises'. Dermot discussed his memoir which he has been writing along with the help of Breda Shannon which describes his life from a young age growing up in Corofin along with his role as an activist and campaigner across many causes over seven decades. He spoke about the launch of his memoir which will take place on the 4th of March at 6pm in Corofin Hall. Dermot will also be doing a signing session in the Ennis Bookshop on March 11th in the Ennis Bookshop between 1pm and 3pm. The memoir is available to purchase in all good book stores in County Clare.
