Today, I unpack some of my most compelling takeaways from Episodes 60, 61, and 64 featuring guests; Genevieve Piturro, Marion Hook, and Shannon M. Tobin.
I think these will be helpful as kindling for your own spark and ignite your passion project.
Number one: I learned “Your purpose picks you!” Also, as Steve Jobs said, “The dots only connect backwards.”
Number two: I also learned from our guests most often, our purpose is rooted in our own life's journey.
Number three: I reflect that none of us are starting from scratch. We are all starting from experience, and it is our unique, cumulative life experience that ensures we are the right one, in exactly in the right place and time, to do what we're feeling called to do.
Number four: It is important to start small with your idea and just keep moving. Every day, do one thing that day to keep you moving forward in the direction of your main thing.
Number five: Have a plan. A plan of growth requires you to keep on revising it. Set some metrics in your plan, your KPIs, key performance indicators,
Number six: Know your own strengths and then build a team and understands your vision and your mission.
Number Seven: Be prepared to be surprised at who will help you and who will support you, and equally be prepared to be surprised at who will not.
Listen to the episodes to capture more wisdom from my guests and find out how to learn more from them, follow their success, and be a part of what the amazing impact they individually have.
