Clarecastle Councillor Calls For Local Sites To Be Identified For Camping Facilities
A Clarecastle Councillor is leading calls for sites to be identified for low cost camping facilities throughout the county. It's after it emerged Clare County Council has appointed consultants to assess and enhance the county's motorhome and camper van services. It's understood the local authority's tourism department intends to put together a strategy for camping in Clare in the short, medium and long term. Clarecastle-based Fianna Fail Councillor Tom O' Callaghan believes the are private and public models that could be used for such sites.
