Show of hands! Who wants to go away on a trip? (No, not with me, don't worry. Besides, you're raising your hand for an audio medium?) You know how I love educational and entertaining interviews, and this one doesn't disappoint. Jared's website is truly a labor of love that can end up saving you some big buckaroos (money, not cowboys). And you'll learn in this interview the best way to plan out an affordable trip...
(*Bit of Strong Language in this one. Surprised? Didn't think so...) So, Jesse texted me (yes, he has my number!) ,saying, "I have a podcast, give me publicity!" Done, my friend! I had so much fun with him on our first interview (but The Cranberries still might be a bit sore...) ,so I could only imagine what his podcast is like. And to all of you who love geek culture, I say, " Highly recommended!" (Again, surprised? Didn't think so.....
Warning: Some strong language. (Does that make us heathens? Eh, probably not...) This was a great opportunity to get to hear an actual story of belonging to a religious cult, and the ladies were just incredible guests. (Super nice, too!) It's interesting when you're a teenager and you wonder what your life will be like 30-40 years from that point. I'm sure Tracey and Sharon wouldn't have imagined doing their podcast at this point in their lives...
Multi-talented AND multi-instrumental! In the short time that we had our interview, you can really tell how much Lisa Marie cares about her craft, and how much she does to follow her vision, whether it be audio or video. But I think we need to hold a recruiting fair to help her find more women musicians to collaborate with. (I would gladly help, but it appears the Lovely Sherpa Bride has me handcuffed to Mr. Fluffy (the mountain lion) to ensure that I'm staying put...
It's under 20 minutes today! Since I could not get either of my "hoped for" interviews recorded in enough time, I figured it was time for a mini-episode. So, it's about what's going on in the Sherpa Chalet, and of course, with "Sherpa Samples...
So here's a treat for you, Rebels! A few years back, I did a little side project called "The Expert Factory", where I had folks come on to give advice. (Which explains why you don't hear too much of me on this episode!) If you've been a listener for a while, you'll know that Allison has always been one of my favorite people in Podcastia...
(Note: Amazon has announced that the AMP app will be shutting down 10/31/2023. NOT due to anything I did...I think. I am hoping for a new platform to be announced, and will keep you informed of any "online deejaying" I hope to do in the future.)
Even though it initially made a semi-splash, doing "Too Many 80's Songs" was so much fun for me ,being such an 80's music fan. And now I get to try it again!...
Here's a guy who started with local interviews, which grew into a larger show with even more well-known folks. (My show only becomes larger by eating more and standing on its toes.) And this is the episode that features...nutmeg! I don't even think Joe Rogan or "This American Life" does that...
Another guest from the Wisdom app, you say? Yesiree, Bob! (Although I don't know who Bob is, but I know he's not my uncle, you there in the U.K.) This interview was borne from an absolutely fascinating conversation on the Wisdom app (which you can participate or listen in on),which we got to continue here. Andrew's podcast is a straightforward, honest, analysis of manhood, and what it truly entails in regard to relationships. It's powerful stuff, and real food for thought...
