There's nothing like kicking off a new season with some great advice. And Jolie certainly provided us with valuable information. With all of these changing times, maybe some of us are looking for a change, and possibly a change in our careers. So have a listen to Jolie's podcast, and you just might be on your way to that career change you've always wanted...
Since this is an audio podcast, I must tell you Rebels that Shanna can easily pass fo someone in their teens or early 20's. I didn't know that the fountain of youth was in Texas! I've been told that I look the same as I did in high school, too. With greying hair, and very tired. Ah, youth! Personally, I don't think that Shanna has time to get older, with all of the projects that she's currently involved in....
Simple question, Rebels- How can a person NOT be busy with 2 sets of twins? I found it amazing that being a busy working mom, Wendy Kok had the time to write the incredible book, "A Grey Resort.". PLUS co-host a podcast! It must be that Michigan air. (Not making jokes about the water, because, well, you know...) Nonetheless, she was really interesting to interview, and I'm sure you'll be seein or hearing new things from her creative mind in the near future...
Sarah (SJ) is truly someone who's put her life into her life's work.Being the mom of 3 autistic children, she has channelled her experiences into both her books and her podcast. I don't know much about autism, to be perfectly honest, but I know that she has brought autism awareness to another level. I got to meet her son before the interview, and she was telling me how he wants to have his own podcast. With a mom like SJ, I'm sure that anything is possible...
Party Peoplllllllllllleeee!!!! Sorry, I can't do in writing what DC does on a recording. I might sound better with "Viva La Sherpalution!", but I'm one of the few who say it. And it's usually in the bank. Don't ask. Long story. Remember a while back, when I interviewed Australian supermodel Jasmin Shojai? (You don't??! Then head on to my website and listen to it....after you hear this episode.) The whole time, I was so impressed at how driven she was. I got the same feeling speaking with DC...
Well, Rebels, every once in a while, there comes a time when I will air several interviews in 1 episode. Some of you know the reason why, but I'm still trying to figure it out. First up--If you prefer your podcast language to be uncensored and meandering, then check out The Law Offices of Quibble, Squabble, and Bicker. The language and subject matter has been edited to a kind of PG-13 for this show. The guys ket counting every time an f-bomb went off, and there were quite a few...
As you will plainly hear, Rebels, this was a fun show. Jenna is every bit the bundle of energy that you see in the promo videos for her website. And what a talented lady, I should add, as well! She's clearly led an interesting life, and is a born entertainer. I love it when a guest can come on the show and just have fun while getting their story across...
I do certain shows that I call "Oprah episodes." Stuff that has important messages for the listener. (No one gets a car. Not even me) It can't be all Marshmallow Fluff, right? Can it? (Stop saying it can, you there with the hat.) They're just as informative to me as they are to you, dear Rebels. This may certainly be categorized as an Oprah episode, but Sarah was sooo much fun to interview. You can tell how down-to-earth she is, right from the opening moments of our interview...
So, who would suspect that a 90's talk show host would have a huge impact on a guy with his own streaming talk-variety show? As I mentioned, there's more to Richard than just a (not dangerous at all) fan obsession with Rosie O'Donnell. This is a guy who wants to bring new talent to the masses. This is a guy who wants to do wonderful things for the people of this Earth.I also think he may have taken the last Scooter Pie out of the Sherpa Chalet kitchen, but let's not rush to judgement...
Okay, so how many grandfathers do you know that can tell their kids, " I was Sandra Bullock's bodyguard"? Know any that are featured in an upcoming horror movie? How about if they went from Iceland to work with the LAPD? I can't say that I've known anyone who did all of these-until the day I got to meet Einar Haraldsson. And what a fun meeting that was Rebels! As you can tell from the interview, he's got a great sense of humor. For a while I was thinking, hmmmmm......
