I think if you've got a podcast and you want to bring it to a video platform, then John's show is what you need to listen to. And of course, if you're looking for an example of what not to do week, to week, congratulations, Columbus, welcome to the New World! Wait, did I say "Welcome to Season 6"? Apparently not, and fortunately, the voices in my head didn't answer...
So far this season, I've spoken to 2 guys with beards that could house the Sherpa-Lu Studio players! (Hmmm....that gives me an idea. ) Unfortunately, I didn't get to speak with Wil for very long, because he had other interviews lined up, and his daughter wasn't feeling that great, so he was off to be a good dad. Which is another part he's playing, come to think of it. Maybe we'll catch him in the "Game of Thrones" sequel....you just never know. I can see him playing a god ...
Yes, Rebels, this episode truly is a Season 6 favorite. Nothing like learning and laughing at the same time. Casey's podcast is a unique look at the world of classical music. And she's the first to come armed to a Sherpa interview with a violin. (If only my kazoo wasn't at the shop being tuned. Or kicked. Or something like that.) So as you can see, nothing to be intimidated by when it comes to classical music. Except maybe falling into that kettle drum...
After our interview, Tim was telling me how he met Tom Hanks, when he was on "From The Earth To The Moon." He said talking to Tom Hanks is like talking with your neighbor. He said he really appreciated how Tom treats people so nice, and he said that he wants to do that with his career, as well. As far as this interview was concerned, all I can say is, "Mission accomplished...
How many podcasters do you know with their own podcast, and a podcast app to go with it? That many? Wow, I've got to get out more...But I digress. I enjoyed talking with Tiago about this "casting of pods" world. I strongly recommend his app too. Very simple to use.(Plus, this show is on it!) If I was listening to "Podcast Overhaul "before launching my own show, I'm sure my forehead wouldn't have as many dents, from banging it against the keyboard! Live and learn, as they say...
It's fun when I do a little stalking, er, recon, , ummmm....research, on my guests and find out lots of interesting things about them. So, if you're a travel lover, check out Gary's website (listed below) for great pictures, fascinating blogs, and oh yes, a podcast or two! The only way I'll ever get to all 7 continents is by holding a globe in my hands. But Gary is a guy who put his home life behind him, and learned to live out of a suitcase to explore what the world has to offer...
This episode was just too much fun! I think Dr. Andrea and I were laughing about 15 minutes before we started recording, and 20 minutes after her interview. No small surprise, she's a wonderful conversationalist with a great sense of humor. I told her beforehand to just have fun, and did we ever! It's funny-I tend to shy away from business podcasts, because so many turn into that big ad for "Make A Million Dollars By Selling Old Socks. But "Talk About Talk" is such a FAR cry from that...
I know. This isn't the sort of title you'd normally expect from an episode of Too Many Podcasts! Nor the interview that you will hear in this episode. But, imagine yourself in the place of my guest, David Ogman, for a moment. You have a young son with a rare, fatal genetic disease and you want to do all that you can to raise money for gene therapy and research to battle this disease. All during a horrific pandemic ...
I'm not sure who's having more fun on the magician episodes; the magician or me? Once again, I was amazed by a great card trick, that you can witness on my social media pages @sherpalution. Jake is a talented young performer who will certainly go far. Maybe one day he and previous guest, magician Anthony Presciutti can do a double magic bill. I can offer to warm up the crowd with my comedy stylings. If I actually had any. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do some hat shopping...
This was an episode that came out of the blue. I was contacted through a website by Renee, who said she'd like to come on the show to talk about competitive pole dancing. So, naturally, knowing absolutely nothing about this, I said, "Of course!" (Which is how i got into college. And became a superhero.)To hear Renee explain it, this is more about body positivity than the stigma that is is attached to it. I think your perception will change, once you see Renee's videos on Instagram...
